So I borrowed the Samurai Jack season 1 DVDs from my friend Daniel, and the storybook-style backgrounds inspired me to do this picture. If you are looking for a desktop wallpaper, I suggest centering it over a black background. Since I did the picture in Illustrator, it was easy to kick out higher-resolution versions suitable for larger desktops: 1, 2, 3.

update: I added 4 works to my art pages that weren't linked to before. You might have seen them, though.

Whew. It's been a while since I posted. Here's a flurry of updates:

• Got into grad school! I'll be attending the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in the fall.
• Quit my job in order to have some time off before grad school.
• Wrote a paper for the Oceans 2005 Europe conference.
• Submitted an entry for the Ludum Dare 48-Hour Game Programming Competition. Check out my development diary and see my entry (Windows binary).
• Went down to visit Micaela for a few days in Charlottesville.

In the next few days, I'll be polishing up the LD48 entry, and working on planning the trip that Micaela and I will be taking to Europe this summer.
