8/31/2004: leave
So I'm on a month of personal leave from Bluefin, which is great. Ostensibly, it's to get my grad school applications together -- I've been studying for the GREs, looking at the US News CS Grad School rankings, made my thesis available online (not to you, so my professors can look at it), and even updated my resume. But there's time for fun stuff too. So without further ado, here's five years of dumb email about my Where's Waldo pages.
8/09/2004: karma, part 2
So in a last-minute change of plans, Dave and I went down to NYC last weekend (we had been planning to bike from Plymouth to Provincetown). On the same day that I got a hundred-dollar plus parking ticket (they are very very serious about their fire hydrants in Manhattan), we also got a box of 19 free cupcakes from the Cupcake Cafe when we stopped in there for a few minutes. Now the street value for those cupcakes wasn't quite $100, but the point is, there is some balance in the universe. Or something.
Last night, Micaela and I got back from visiting her folks in Arkansas. We had a really nice time just relaxing and hanging out. Plus my sunburn from hanging out on her deck is almost gone.
Now, back to work...
