I've been meaning to post a bunch of stuff...

Arlington - Dave and I went down to our high school principal's retirement party this weekend, and saw all sorts of folks both familiar and obscure, which was a bunch of fun.

lucky - I've been having a bunch of fun typing Batman or comic-book style onomatopoeia into Google and clicking the "I'm feeling lucky" button. You get kind of random stuff. For example, Bwaah!, FOOM, sploosh, Ga-Ding!, and of course *biff*.

cook - Micaela and I cooked a nice dinner for Dave the other night, of which I finally finished the leftovers:

• last sunday - the original meal (bread 'n' cheese, 2 roast chickens, lots o' risotto, dessert)
• last tuesday - leftover risotto at mom & dad's house (actually traded dad risotto for a nice lamb chop)
• friday - asian-style curried chicken soup with lots o sriracha, baby bok choy (courtesy Dave), and rice noodles
• monday - chicken salad sandwiches (shared with my roommate jennie, who supplied the bread).

I should cook tons of food more often...

Cadillac - As promised, I finally put the rules to our new pub game online.

So Micaela and I went to NYC this weekend. We saw the NYC Ballet where three (!) dancers fell during the Ballanchine retrospective performance we saw. My coworker Jeremy proposed a per-fall prorating of the ticket prices... Props to my 90 (ok, she'll be 90 in August, but still...) year-old grandmother, who walked with us from her apt. on the Upper East Side down to Lincoln center. We also saw Coffee and Cigarettes, parts of which were really entertaining, and parts of which just dragged. [Look out for Tom Waits telling Iggy Pop that his second occupation as a surgeon really comes out in his music.] Other than that, we saw the outside of just about every building in Manhattan, and covered whole lot of ground.

Anyways, I still haven't forgotten to put up the rules to Cadillac (see 5/18), so hopefully I'll get that up soon.
